Account/Project Manager (Commission-Based)
About the Role
Digital Med Spa is a fast-growing digital marketing agency focused on med spas, functional medicine, day spas, and holistic wellness centers. We’re seeking an Account/Project Manager to serve as the primary point of contact between clients and our agency. In this pivotal role, you’ll nurture client relationships, coordinate projects, perform quick updates, and drive growth by helping clients succeed online. This is a commission-based, independent contractor role with future potential to transition into an employee salaried + commission position based on performance.
ACCOUNT MANAGER
As an independent contractor, this role offers you the autonomy to select and self-manage your hours and have unlimited income potential—the more clients you bring on, the more you earn.
Main Responsibilities

Prospect and acquire new clients for the agency.

Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.

Act as the liaison between clients and teams to execute services.

Offer hands-on support to move projects along, as needed.

Regularly analyze campaign performance and communicate suggestions to improve performance.

Suggest upselling opportunities.

Maintain detailed records in CRM and track communications and contract status.

Meet goals and KPIs.

Qualifications
-
At least 2 years’ experience in digital marketing, sales, or account management.

Background in the spa or aesthetics industry is a plus (e.g., licensed aesthetician, spa manager, or related experience).

Comfortable with Google Analytics and performance reporting (or willing to learn).

Interest in staying current with SEO, social media, and digital marketing trends that affect client campaigns.

Basic skills in website updates or content creation, or openness to learn these quickly.

Self-motivated and results-oriented, with strong follow-through.

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients at once.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Experience as a spa or wellness center owner or manager who now wants to use that expertise to help other businesses in the industry grow.
Compensation

Commission-only position with a tiered structure and bonuses for client retention and upsells.

Independent contractor role with a flexible, make-your-own-schedule arrangement—set your own hours while focusing on winning and growing client accounts.

Optional growth path: Opportunity to transition to a full-time salary + commission role after meeting performance benchmarks (if desired).
